“There might be more focus on what happens to the winner after they are supposedly done with the show,” says the source. There has been no official comment on any changes to the show from NBC.
After last week’s controversial finale, where winner Rachel Frederickson won Season 15 with a shocking overall weight loss, it seems “The Biggest Loser“ is taking steps to keep contestants from going “too far” in their weight loss journey from this point forward.
According to E! Online, sources connected to the show say producers are considering making “small but significant tweaks” to how the contestants stay in touch after they leave the ranch, but before the live finale three months later, providing more “support and check-in” opportunities during the time they are losing weight on their own.
