tv ratings friday may 17 TV Ratings: 'Hart of Dixie' Season 3 finale rises while 'Grimm' wedding stays steady

Fast National ratings for Friday, May 17, 2014
There were a few TV season finales on Friday night, but ABC clearly won the night with its two-hour special, “Barbara Walters: Her Story.”
The “Shark Tank” season finale ended down from last week, but this season was its highest rated season ever, so it’s still a win for the network. The CW’s “Hart of Dixie” Season 3 finale was up from last week, ending on a good note, as was “Whose Line Is It Anyway.” The highly-anticipated “Grimm” wedding was steady from last week, while “Hannibal” rose slightly.
ABC earned 8.4 million viewers for the night and a 5.6 rating/10 share in households. It was followed by CBS (6.1 million, 4.0/7), NBC (4.9 million, 3.2/6), FOX (2.0 million, 1.3/2) and The CW (1.3 million, 0.8/2).
ABC led the adults 18-49 demo with a 1.6 rating thanks to the “Barbara Walters: Her Story” two-hour special. NBC came in second with a 1.2, CBS next with a 0.7. FOX earned a 0.6, trailed closely by The CW’s 0.5.
