“Planet Earth” is arguably the greatest nature documentary television has ever seen. The eight-part series, narrated by David Attenborough or Sigourney Weaver, depending on which version you are watching, explores just about every inch of the planet we call home, with stunning high-def footage of majestic animals and soaring landscapes.

Now imagine if it were narrated by Snoop Dogg, which is what happened on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday (June 30). His show is called “Plizzanet Earth,” naturally.

“Lookin’ at rams and elks and s***. This is some old, ancient s*** that the rams did in the 1800s. … I never understood rams, why do they do this s***? What do they get out of this? Are they rams or billy goats?” says Snoop. “Well, what I’ve learned from watching this is … jack s***.”

There’s actually probably a market out there for this. Get on it, Discovery Channel.
