Paula Deen might’ve been dropped from the Food Network after her 2013 racism scandal, but she’s finding a way to get her Southern hospitality to viewers — via a live tour that will hit 20 cities throughout the summer of 2014.
According to E! Online, the 90-minute live show will feature demos of Deen’s down-home recipes, storytelling and games. Only five dates have been announced so far — Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; Savannah, Ga.; Atlanta, Ga.; Nashville, Tenn. and San Antonio, Texas — and tickets will go on sale May 1.
The “Paula’s Party” star played up the audience interaction in an interview with the Miami Times, saying, “We are going to play musical chairs and the dating game with the audience. That’s the excitement of it all — my fans get to be part of the show.”
