aaron hernandez search house arrest warrant Aaron Hernandez's house searched by police; arrest warrant reportedly drawn up but not issuedAaron Hernandez, the New England Patriots tight end who is suspected of obstruction of justice in the shooting death of semi-pro player Odin Lloyd, reportedly has a warrant drawn up for his possible arrest, but it has not been issued yet, according to ABC News.

So far in the investigation, it has been found that Hernandez destroyed his home security system and delivered his cell phone to the police in smashed pieces. There was also a car rented in Hernandez’s name found near Lloyd’s body.

Furthermore, police have been searching Hernandez’s North Attleborough, Mass. home Saturday (June 22), according to New York Daily News reporter Kevin Armstrong, who is on the scene. Armstrong has been tweeting that the police have been using K9 units to search both the Hernandez house and the dog house out back.

It sounds as though police are also having trouble with something that is locked, as they came outside to get a crow bar and then eventually called a locksmith to help them.

Update: Around 5:30 p.m. ET, the police started wrapping things up at Hernandez’s house. He was not taken into custody at this time.
