suburgatory-super-fun-night-canceled-ABC.jpgThe carnage continues at ABC as “Suburgatory” and “Super Fun Night” were canceled Friday (May 9) according to multiple reports, joining the ranks of the other recently-canceled ABC comedies “Trophy Wife,” “The Neighbors” and “Mixology.”

These cancellations come on the heels of ABC announcing a slew of pilot pick-ups and also renewals for “Castle,” “The Goldbergs,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD,” “Modern Family,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Resurrection,” “Revenge” and “Scandal.”

ABC is declining to officially comment on the cancellations until all decisions have been made, but fans of “Super Fun Night” can take heart — they’ll be able to see star Rebel Wilson on the big screen, as Variety reports she has been cast as the lead in a remake of the 1980 Goldie Hawn classic “Private Benjamin.”
