ABC-renewals-goldbergs-castle-scandal-2014.jpgABC has gotten into the renewal game on Thursday (May 8) night with announcements for its returning dramas: “Once Upon a Time,” “Scandal,” “Castle,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Agents of SHIELD” and “Resurrection” have all been renewed for new seasons. Two comedies, “Modern Family” and “The Goldbergs,” have also been renewed.

The newest show in the group, “Resurrection,” has had a short but solid airing since its midseason premiere, garnering 13.3 million viewers with a 3.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. A drama about people returning from the dead in a small Missouri town, “Resurrection” ended its Season 1 on Sunday (May 4) with a major cliffhanger.

Other returning series include “Castle” (Season 7), “Grey’s Anatomy” (Season 11), “Scandal” (Season 4), “Revenge” (Season 4), “Once Upon a Time” (Season 4), “Agents of SHIELD,” (Season 2), “Modern Family” (Season 6) and “The Goldbergs” (Season 2).
