New Era dropped the fourth spot in its dependably funny campaign featuring actors Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski taking that timeless Yankees/Red Sox rivalry into the territory of NBC sitcom leading men.

The latest, which features just a second of Baldwin and probably more Krasinski than anyone would like to see, finds the “Office” star crudely rendered into a skimpy cheerleader outfit and broadcast on that obscenely large Jumbo-tron at Yankee Stadium.

Baldwin may not have the last laugh, though. After losing the first game in the three-game series over the Aug. 6 weekend, the Red Sox seem poised to tie-up with the Yankees after game two.
