susan lucci hot in cleveland 'All My Children,' 'One Life to Live' reportedly renewed, will live online

ABC has already set an end date for the previously canceled “All My Children,” which joins fellow soap “One Life to Live” as the latest in the genre to be put out to pasture, but maybe there’s more than one life for the series after all.

The New York Post reports (via Vulture) that media company Prospect Park has purchased the online rights to the shows.

As a part of the alleged deal, Prospect Park (which produces USA Network’s “Royal Pains”) will keep on the remaining cast members (Susan Lucci included) and continue the storylines for a web-based audience.

Both “AMC” and “OLTL” would endure on a Hulu-esque website, should the deal go through. ABC could not be immediately reached for confirmation at the time of the story.

If this turns out to be true, it’s safe to assume that a lot of fans will be increasing their bandwidth. What say you soap fans? Would you tune in for online escapades in Pine Valley and Llanview?
