Amanda Bynes had her day in court Tuesday (July 9), and she did it with style. Not necessarily good style, as she donned a blue wig and sweatpants, but style nonetheless. Her appearance comes the day after she sent a series of tweets claiming she was suffering a broken nose due to a plastic surgery.
“My Nose Is Broken I’m Bruised I Can’t Wait For My Next Surgery,” she writes, adding, “My Surgeon Broke My Nose During My Surgery But Hasn’t Finished My Nose! It’s Still Broken And I Can’t Breathe!” She also says the broken nose is “Making The Bone Under My Eyes Protrude So I Won’t Stop Getting Surgery Until That Bone Is Shaved Off.”
When Amanda appeared at the courthouse she was wearing oversized sunglasses that hid whatever damage she was talking about. Still, after photos from court appeared online, Amanda was quick to tweet, “I Hate Taking Pictures With A Broken Nose.”
Bynes also started throwing the word ugly around again, though this time she may have gone too far. In the past, Amanda has labeled almost everyone as ugly, Now, in a tweet sent Monday night, she targeted a child. “My Niece Jaylynn Is Ugly But My Nephew Matt Is Stunning,” she wrote. Surely the parents of that niece and nephew are ecstatic that Amanda is ranking them. Of course, that message was eventually deleted.
Where Amanda goes from here is anyone’s guess as she’s not exactly predictable, but it’s become clear that someone needs to get a handle on her Twitter account. As for her court case, it has been continued until August.
