One of the new dramas coming to ABC for the 2014-15 TV season is “American Crime,” which examines the fallout in a community when a young couple is attacked in their home, leaving the husband, a war veteran named Matt Skokie, dead and his wife Lily clinging to life. Four suspects are arrested and the case rattles the community, stirring up tensions across racial lines.

“American Crime” stars Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, W. Earl Brown, Richard Cabral, Caitlin Gerard, Benito Martinez, Penelope Ann Miller, Elvis Nolasco and Johnny Ortiz and was written, directed and produced by John Ridley (“12 Years a Slave”).
