– The 2014 Producers Guild Nominations have been announced, with long-form TV noms going to “American Horror Story: Asylum,” “Behind the Candelabra,” “Killing Kennedy,” “Phil Spector” and “Top of the Lake.” 

Animated movie nominations went to “The Croods,” “Despicable Me 2,” “Epic,” “Frozen” and “Monsters University” and feature film nominations include “12 Years a Slave,” “American Hustle,” “Blue Jasmine,” “Captain Phillips,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “Gravity,” “Her,” “Nebraska,” “Saving Mr. Banks” and “Wolf of Wall Street.”

“The Good Wife” is debuting some brand-new Bruce Springsteen music in 2014. Following the Sunday, Jan. 5 episode, a special preview for the following episode will feature a snippet of Springsteen’s new album and prompt viewers to check out “High Hopes” at, where the full album will be available in its entirety. The Jan. 12 episode of “The Good Wife” will also feature three songs from the album — “High Hopes,” “Hunter of Invisible Game” and “The Ghost of Tom Joad.”

“Saturday Night Live” is headed to China via the online video site, Sohu’s chief executive Charles Zhang announced Thursday (Jan. 2). Zhang says that bringing U.S. content to the Chinese people online will help to combat digital piracy, which is a problem in their country. The show will be broadcast in China in English on Mondays following a new “SNL” episode, then re-broadcast the following Saturday night with Chinese subtitles. [THR]

– “WWE RAW” is going old school on Monday (Jan. 6), complete with a classic arena look and many returning legends, including Ric FlairRowdy Roddy PiperDiamond Dallas Page, The New Age Outlaws and “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. “WWE RAW” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on USA.

– Need to get caught up on your favorite CW shows? You’re in luck. TVGN is marathoning every episode of “The Tomorrow People” (Saturday, Jan. 4 starting at 2 p.m. ET/PT), “The Originals” (Saturday, Jan. 11 starting at 2 p.m. ET/PT) and “Reign” (Saturday, Jan. 18 starting at 2 p.m. ET/PT) to give old and new viewers alike a chance to get caught up before the shows return later in January.

ABC News has hired Australian journalist Hamish Macdonald as a new international affairs correspondent based out of the London bureau, ABC News president Ben Sherwood announced Thursday (Jan. 2). Macdonald has previously reported from Afghanistan, the Georgia-Russia war and Egypt and Libya throughout the Arab Spring events.

– What’s old is new again. “omg! Insider” executive producer Brad Bessey revealed on New Year’s Day that the entertainment news program will be reverting back to its original name, “The Insider,” on Jan. 6. The show’s only been called “omg! Insider” for a year, a change that occurred thanks to a partnership with Yahoo!’s omg! celebrity news division.
