The “American Idol” finalists didn’t have a lot of time to mourn for their double-eliminated fallen comrades.
Instead, the remaining seven were whisked away to Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium Thursday, April 15.
For some people, this was the dreaded Tax Day, but for baseball fans, it was Jackie Robinson Night, the 63rd anniversary of Robinson breaking the color barrier.
Check out Aaron Kelly, Lee DeWyze, Casey James, Sioban Magnus, Crystal Bowersox, Michael Lynche and Tim Urban meeting baseball great Don Newcome, who was once Robinson’s teammate.
The lucky seven also got to don Dodgers jerseys.
The Los Angeles Dodgers also posted this pic to their Facebook page with the caption, “Maybe a future anthem singer in the mix?”
