amy winehouse getty Amy Winehouse announces 2011 tour datesOur favorite trainosaurus wreck Grammy-winning songtress Amy Winehouse is taking her act on the road to Brazil this coming year. Exactly the key words being “coming year” and a lot can happen between now and then. Lets try this one more time: Wino has announced she intends to tour this January.

]]>Amy Winehouse has announced four tour stops in January of 2011, where she will be joined by the likes of Mayer Hawthorne and Janelle Mone.

Hawthrorne is an American soul artist, or more specifically (deep breath in) a singer, producer, songwriter, arranger, audio engineer, DJ, rapper and multi-instrumentalist (and out). He will share the stage with Amy’s bee-hive at the three Summer Soul Festival stops of the tour.
Mone (who we’re totally digging, by the way) is also an American singer, songwriter and according to her website, “high funktress,” with tunes reminiscent of 1960s pop and jazz. She will be on stage with Winehouse for all four shows.
Seriously though, not to hate too much on Amy — girlfriend can sing, that’s for sure. While we do love her incredible vocals, we haven’t yet figured out if seeing her on stage would be epic, or epically disastrous. If you happen to be in Brazil in January, here’s the list of tour stops.
Jan. 8: Summer Soul Festival, Il Divino, Florianopolis
Jan. 11: Arena HSBC, Rio de Janeiro
Jan. 13: Summer Soul Festival, Convention Center, Recife
Jan. 15: Summer Soul Fesitval, Chcara do Joquei, Sao Paulo
