anderson renewed gi Anderson Cooper's daytime show picked up for a second seasonAt least one of the slew of new talk shows launched this season will make it to next fall.

Anderson Cooper‘s daytime show “Anderson” will return in 2012-13, distributor Warner Bros. announced Wednesday (Nov. 9). Several station groups, including FOX-owned stations in some of the country’s biggest markets, have agreed to carry the syndicated show next season.

“I am enjoying the daytime show tremendously and am looking forward to what lies ahead,” Cooper says.

“Anderson” will also switch stations in New York next season, moving from CW affiliate WPIX to WNYW, the FOX station in the country’s biggest TV market. FOX-owned stations in Los Angeles and Chicago — the second- and third-biggest markets — also carry the show, and several other station owners have also picked it up.

Cooper’s show has been drawing decent but not stratospheric ratings since it debuted in September. But in the post-Oprah world of daytime TV, that’s OK.
