She may not have found true love on “The Bachelorette,” but Emily Maynard is ready to take a trip down the aisle with her fiance Tyler Johnson.
The couple only announced their engagement on Jan. 7, but Mayard is already anxious to get to the wedding. She appeared on “Good Morning America” Tuesday (Jan. 14), admitting she plans to wed Johnson “soon.”
Though her “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” beaus didn’t work out, Maynard couldn’t be happier with the man she met before ever appearing on those shows. “We met each other at church and I think that’s why our relationship is so good now, because we started out as friends,” she says.
She’s also quick to note that Johnson never watched her seasons of the show, which could make for some interesting viewing down the road.
This is the fourth engagement for Maynard. Outside of her TV fiances, she was also engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, who died in a 2004 plane crash. She has one child with Hendrick: A daughter named Ricki.
