After barely making it out of Season 1 alive, Lucas Hood, played by Antony Starr, returns in “Banshee” Season 2 on Cinemax, Friday, Jan. 10, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Set in Pennsylvania’s Amish country, this action-packed drama follows Lucas Hood, an ex-con recently released from prison who quickly assumes the role of sheriff in the idyllic town of Banshee.
Banshee is executive produced by Jonathan Tropper (author of the New York Times bestseller “This Is Where I Leave You”), David Schickler (author of “Kissing in Manhattan” and “Sweet and Vicious”), Peter Macdissi (“Towelhead,” HBO’s “Six Feet Under”), Alan Ball (HBO’s “True Blood” and the Emmy®-winning “Six Feet Under”) and Greg Yaitanes (Emmy® winner for directing “House M.D.”). Season 2 picks up where Season 1 left off as Banshee’s wholesome façade continues to be stripped away as the story veers into the town’s gritty underbelly.
Lucas and Carrie deal with the fallout of Rabbit’s shooting and the mayor’s death. Lucas must settle the increasing tensions between the Amish and local Kinaho tribe after a brutal crime rattles the town. Meanwhile, Lucas’ son comes to town to investigate his father’s disappearance.
How will all of this affect Lucas? Tune in Friday, Jan. 10, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Cinemax to catch all the action in this heart-pounding series.
