Monday’s (Dec. 19) Monday Night Football game in San Francisco between the hometown 49ers and the Pittsburgh Steelers had two rather unorthodox interruptions – transformers blew outside the stadium, plunging Candlestick Park into darkness twice.

One rowdy fan took that as his cue to try to rush the field, prompting Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to crack, “Where’s James Harrison when you need him?” Roethlisberger is referring to Steelers linebacker Harrison’s suspension from this particular Monday Night Football game following his helmet-to-helmet hit on Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy. Start the video above around the 1:40 mark to hear Big Ben’s joke.

Speaking of Harrison, he was doing some joke cracking of his own, as he tweeted during the game, “If I cant play then can’t nobody play… Lights out!”

We like the idea that Harrison is a magic wizard who made the lights go out.
