bethenny talk show canceled bethenny frankel relieved Bethenny Frankel says she felt 'filtered' on now canceled talk showBethenny Frankel
‘s talk show was canceled after just one season, but the former “Real Housewives of New York” star doesn’t seem too broken up about it in an open letter she wrote on the show’s website.

In it, she praises the work of the soon-to-be unemployed crew even after the cancellation, but admits she didn’t really enjoy the experience much. “In order to have the freedom to create a talk show, there are required elements that the job entails. This is the part that I didn’t enjoy so much and that wasn’t authentic to me,” she writes. “Unlike my time on Bravo, I felt a bit diluted, filtered and somewhat constricted.”

Ultimately, Frankel says she’s “relieved” that the show’s done and is ready for some time outside of the spotlight. “What I really want right now is to be with my daughter, to do yoga, to focus on Skinnygirl and my writing, and to give myself a break. I have been striving and climbing and white-knuckling for so long that I need a rest from the grind,” she writes. “I’m a little over myself and wouldn’t blame anyone else for being over me as well.”

That said, she is still “grateful for the experience and to those of you who went on this journey with me. It was fun, exciting, scary and a great challenge.”
