Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar joined their “The Big Bang Theory” co-stars in signing big deals with Warner Brothers studios for the next two seasons. While Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco signed “Friends”-level deals earlier this week, Helberg and Nayyar held out for their own big pay raises.

They have both signed on through season 10 with the rest of the cast and earned a pay raise from their previous $100K per episode deal. The two long-time friends negotiated together in hopes of narrowing the gap between their paychecks and stars Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco. The negotiations for the contracts have been rocky as sources revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that Helberg and Nayyar — who play one half of the nerdy foursome — were considered by the studio to be third tier talent.
The other female cast members, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Ranch, were also able to negotiate up from $30,000 per episode to $100K.
Now that the hefty deals have been signed, “The Big Bang Theory” will resume production on Wednesday, after being pushed back a week for negotiations. The delay is not expected to effect the September premiere date.

“The Big Bang Theory” premieres Monday, September 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
