In ABC’s new comedy “Black-ish,” Anthony Anderson’s character is facing his worst nightmare: His family doesn’t want to be exactly like him.
He has a son who wants to convert to Judaism and play field hockey, his dad doesn’t seem to like him very much and he feels like the rest of his family is losing their culture. He’s going to find some common ground though, whether he likes it or not.
“Black-ish” will air Wednesdays in the fall on ABC.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
