Over the past nine seasons, “Bones” has come up with some new and creative (and disgusting) ways to show how people have died. The body in the show’s Season 9 finale, “The Recluse in the Recliner,” airing Monday (May 19)? Just as gross as ever, even almost a decade later.
“The body in the season finale — fantastic. Absolutely fantastic,” raves executive producer Stephen Nathan in Zap2it‘s exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the episode, which features the team trying to figure out the cause of death of a person who was found burned inside an Airstream trailer.
Fellow EP Jonathan Collier adds that the special-effects gurus charged with creating the bodies the Jeffersonian team discovers each week always pulls through. “Every time we give them a new challenge it almost kills them, but they rise to it and they exceed our expectations,” he says.
