“Hello Temperance. Let’s talk.”
Christopher Pelant is back on “Bones” in “The Sense in the Sacrifice.” Hopefully, this will be the last we see of the psychotic, murderous computer hacker, but the man does get his one big goodbye. How does it go?
Obviously, it goes creepily, as promo videos for the episode show clearly.
One thing that is different about these videos from the Pelant seen in earlier “Bones” episodes is a focused obsession: Like so many serial killers before him, Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds) has decided that Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is the one for him.
She should seriously be concerned about this attractiveness.
Whatever the case, it’s up to Booth (David Boreanaz), the FBI and the entire Jeffersonian team to stop Pelant once and for all. If they don’t, there are several problems that will arise. Namely:
- No one gets their totally just revenge against this nutcase.
- Brennan and Pelant (and probably part of the lab) explode after his fancy grenade thing explodes.
- Booth and Brennan — still not engaged because of Pelant’s ultimatum from the Season 8 finale — will never ever get married.
The bad guys win.
None of this is acceptable. Thus, Christopher Pelant must go. Will “The Sense in the Sacrifice” be the episode to finally achieve this goal? We will find out when “Bones” airs Monday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. on FOX.
