dzokhar tsarnaev boston marathon bombing suspect Boston manhunt subject Dzhokar Tsarnaev tweeted Eminem and Jay Z lyrics after marathon bombingDzhokar Tsarnaev, 19, is the subject of a manhunt after authorities killed his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, in a late night shootout Thursday (April 18). Both men are identified as suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing earlier in the week.

The younger Tsarnaev, who goes by the name Jahar, has been tweeting in the days following the attack that killed 3 and injured at least 133. On a profile which multiple friends have confirmed to several news outlets including CNN as belonging to Tsarnaev, the suspect tweeted lyrics from Eminem‘s verse on Dr. Dre‘s 2000 hit single, “Forgot About Dre.”

He also posted a Jay-Z lyric, “Ain’t no love in the heart of the city.” and added, “stay safe people.”

Jay-Z’s 2001 single, produced by Kanye West, was first released in 1974 as an R&B track.

It seems Jahar was following the press coverage of the bombing as well. He replied to another user who tweeted a widely circulated photo of victims with a touching anecdote, “fake story.” Jahar’s last post was a retweet from Muslim scholar Mufti Ismail Menk, who wrote, “Attitude can take away your beauty no matter how good looking you are or it could enhance your beauty, making you adorable.”
In reading through Jahar’s tweets, you will find he likes “Game of Thrones,” but is a bigger fan of “Breaking Bad.” Two days before the bombing attack, Jahar tweeted, “Got me a haircut, I don’t usually do those.” After the attack he wrote, “I’m a stress free kind of guy.”
