“The Lorax” stayed strong after two weekends at No. 1, while “John Carter” is still struggling at the box office. In a bit of a surprise, Will Ferrell’s “Casa de Mi Padre” opened to $765,000 at only 382 locations nationwide – and it only cost $6 million to make.
