liam neeson taken 2 box office Box Office: 'Taken 2' opens strong; 'Frankenweenie' can't top 'Transylvania' with kiddie crowdThe Friday box office estimates are in and the Liam Neeson action flick “Taken 2” is poised to have a huge weekend, especially considering how paltry the box office has been the last couple months.

The only other new movie that opened in wide release is “Frankenweenie,” which was fifth at $3.3, so apparently with the kiddies, Dracula > Frankenstein.
