bryan cranston lyndon b johnson all the way miniseries Steven Spielberg, Bryan Cranston might team up for LBJ miniseriesEven if you didn’t get a chance to see newly minted Tony winner Bryan Cranston play President Lyndon B. Johnson in the play “All the Way,” you could see him do it on TV: Steven Spielberg is reportedly in talks to bring the play — and Cranston — to the small screen in a TV miniseries.

According to Deadline, Spielberg has seen the play several times, and has existing relationships with Cranston and playwright Robert Schenkkan that he might be using to land a deal with the two to make a miniseries.

The process of bringing the “Breaking Bad” star as LBJ to TV are moving along quickly, Deadline reports, and the project could include another play Schenkkan wrote about LBJ to flesh out the story and include more years of the presidency.
