Carson Daly has a new daytime hosting gig to go with his nighttime one on “The Voice” — Orange Room host on “The Today Show.”

What’s the Orange Room? We’re glad you asked.

“Today” is revealing a new look for Studio 1A on Monday, Sept. 16 and part of that makeover will include the Orange Room, a “digital space” designed to connect the show with its audience. From said space, Daly will allow viewers to offer opinions and influence show segments, giving them unprecedented access to the show.

“When I got the call about being permanently on ‘Today’ and launching the Orange Room, it was like a dream come true. … I felt like I got the golden ticket,” says Daly. “I’m really excited to meet ‘Today’ viewers — I want them to tweet at me and to look at the Orange Room as their room. I want to be their host.”
