What do giant footprints mean when seen at the site of a vicious murder? On the upcoming “Castle” episode, “The Fast and the Furriest,” the tracks may just lead to Bigfoot. The investigation leads Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) through the world of primate research, big-game hunting and mythological creatures — but will the detectives be the ones who end up on the endangered species list?

The first of the two video previews for this episode shows the police (and Castle) arriving at the murder scene. Apparently, the victim was dropped at the hospital but didn’t make it. Considering that Bigfoot is a suspect in this case, we can probably guess that an accomplice was driving the car.

The second video features guest star Raphael Sbarge (“Once Upon a Time”) as Dr. Meeks, a Bigfoot expert.

Would a sasquatch actually wander into a city? It seems unlikely. It seems even more unlikely that the cryptozoological beast would pick New York for its first urban adventure. But Dr. Meeks is the expert, after all. Also, yeti finger?

Seriously, yeti finger! “The Fast and the Furriest” airs on Monday, April 15 at 10pm on ABC.
