chris brown bet 500 Chris Brown's publicist reportedly jumps shipOn the heels of Chris Brown’s “Good Morning America” rage-fueled freakout, his publicist — Tammy Brook — has parted ways with the singer, according to the New York Post.

Brook, who characterizes the end of the relationship as a mutual decision, released this statement to TMZ:

“I am an entertainment/music publicist
and was hired as a publicist, as they often are, to work specifically
on his music publicity for the term up to the release of Chris Brown’s
F.A.M.E. album, which was released on Tuesday March 22 and is entering
the Billboard and iTunes charts at number 1
this week. I love and support Chris and it has been an
honor to be a part of this album and I look forward to the possibility
of working with him again in the future.”

Earlier this week, Brown went on a rampage in his dressing room after being repeatedly asked about ex-girlfriend Rihanna, the status of her restraining order against him and whether or not he’s moved on from the night two years ago when he assaulted Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party. Apparently, the guy just wanted to talk about his new album, “F.A.M.E.”

Brown later apologized for the “GMA” outburst, saying, “I didn’t physically hurt anyone, I didn’t try to hurt anyone, I just wanted to release the anger that I had inside me because I felt that I worked so hard for this music and I felt like people kept just trying to take it away from me. So yes, I got very emotional, and I wanna apologize for acting like that.”

As for record sales — they don’t seem to be negatively impacted by Brown’s antics. His album is currently holding the number one spot in the iTunes store and his single, “Look at Me Now” (oh, we are) is no. 8 with a bullet on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as of Friday (March 25) morning.
