cressida bonas prince harry gi Cressida Bonas: Has Prince Harry met his bride?

Is Cressida Bonas the future bride of England’s Prince Harry? Reports indicate that the British royal is planning to propose marriage to his model girlfriend at some point in the indeterminate future.

But is Cressida ready to say yes?

According to the Telegraph, she is. “Cressie is going to marry Harry,” a friend of the aristocratic Bonas told the publication. “Harry never stops talking about marriage and children, and she has now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year.”

The delay has apparently been with Cressida. Known as something of a free spirit, the 24 year old initially thought herself too young for marriage. It was the couple’s separation while Harry was in Afghanistan that changed Bonas’ opinion. Ever since Harry returned to England earlier in 2013, he and Cressida have gotten closer.

Introduced in May 2012 by Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, the Prince and his girlfriend connected over a shared sense of fun and interest in a party. Cressida probably picked up some of this from her family. Back in the 1960s, the young woman’s mother, Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon, was the “It Girl” for the decade. Lady Mary-Gaye’s multiple marriages (Cressida is the daughter of her third husband) produced several children, many of whom are public figures.

Cressida Bonas’ half-sister, Isabella Calthorpe, for example, is an actress who has appeared on several British series — “The Prisoner” (starring “Person of Interest” actor Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen) and “Trinity” are two of the most notable. Other half-siblings are regular figures in fashion and British tabloids.
