dance moms season 4 100th episode 'Dance Moms' 100th episode sees Abby Lee Miller field 2 competition teamsOn the Season 4 finale of “Dance Moms,” Abby Lee Miller is dealing with her mother Maryen’s death and introducing the new team at her company. She says the girls should see it as a positive and not a negative because it will challenge them. We aren’t so sure the girls and moms see it that way, since Kalani’s mom Kira immediately calls Sarah’s mom Tracey “trash from Arizona.” Oh, that’s nice.

The new team is the culmination of Abby’s nationwide open calls. Each new team member is there to go head-to-head with each current Abby Lee Dance Company member. Yikes.

The match-ups are Sarah R. vs. Nia, Ava vs. Kendall, Jade vs. Kalani, Tea and Sarah H. vs. Mackenzie, Kamryn vs. Chloe and Maddie is off the hook. Maddie, as ALDC’s best dancer, gets to join the new team.

Rather hilariously, the moms of the new dancers are more drama-filled than the current dance moms, particularly the really loud Christy. We didn’t think anyone could be worse than the current crop of dance moms. Remember the slap-fight on Bourbon Street last summer?

Of course, just when you think the new moms are the worst, Kira reminds us how Tracey can “drown in Hell,” whatever that means. Sharp as tacks, these ladies.

Sarah R. ends up getting cut from the group dance by Abby before the competition and in the end, the current ALDC girls lose to the newbies for the overall highest score for groups. In solos, however, Kamryn takes 3rd to Chloe in 1st.

The final decree from Abby is left up in the air because she has to leave for her mom’s funeral. What will become of the dance company? Will Abby field two competition teams permanently? Find out when Season 4 returns, date TBA. Next week is a reunion special.
