In the training montage before his tango on “Dancing With the Stars” Monday (May 2), Hines Ward noted that he’s been called a “silent assassin” in his NFL career — because he doesn’t talk much, but he performs when it counts.
Well, he pretty much killed his routine Monday night.
Ward and Kym Johnson‘s tango scored a 36, tying him with Ralph Macchio for the night’s best. Part of that 36 was a perfect 10 from judge Bruno Tonioli, who called the dance “masterful.”
The Steelers wide receiver has been at or near the top of the leader board for much of the season. Performances like the one he had Monday are why.
