Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the “Dancing With the Stars” professional dancer who burned up the floor with ESPN analyst Erin Andrews in Season 10, admits to not knowing if he’ll be back until right before the rest of us know!
find out right before you guys find out,” he tells Access Hollywood. “Hopefully… I
think it’s a great show and I love being on it and if they’ll have me,
I’ll come back.”
He also says that the pros don’t get to help pick the celebrities, but they do try to put their two cents in. “We always
suggest. My suggestion would be, just give me somebody like Erin
[Andrews] and I’m good,” he says.
Maksim also says the dancers called “DWTS” host Tom Bergeron on his recently Emmy nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality/Reality-Competition Program. “He really does make the show amazing. Without him, we’d probably [be just a] bunch of dancers.”
Apparently the Season 10 crew got pretty close. Friday, July 9 Erin Andrews tweets, “Gang back together..I couldn’t be happier!!! @CherylBurke hurry up and get here!!”
“Dancing With the Stars” premieres on Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
