dancing with the stars season 18 week 6 recap abc 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 18, week 6: Party music, scores and elimination with Redfoo of LMFAO“Dancing with the Stars” Season 18 brings the party to the ballroom with Redfoo (of LMFAO) and all of the performances done to the tune of party anthems. Do parties and ballroom go together? Find out below.

NeNe and Tony are safe, which is good because …

NeNe Leakes and Tony Dovolani
Dancing the salsa

NeNe and Tony are happy now. This shows when NeNe dances with her own husband in the audience and then shakes her … assets. There may be a couple of imperfect steps, but it’s an excellent performance that shows a lot of skin.

Redfoo: “You looked like an entrepreneur out there because you owned that! … That was hot!”

Scores: 8+9+8+8 = 33

Did Redfoo swear in his comments or was that just an audio glitch?

Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas
Dancing the cha-cha

While some of the steps seem a little stiff, other parts work beautifully. Candace has an incredible dress too.

Len: “I was concerned in your samba about your legs. Your leg action was terrific — you must have worked a lot!”

Scores: 8+8+8+8 = 32

James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd
Dancing the quickstep

Based solely on the music (“You’re the One That I Want”), this should be another 10 performance. The dancing is good too — it looks just about perfect and suits the “Grease” feel perfectly.

Bruno: “It could have been a bit lighter on his feet, but the combination of the two was absolutely wonderful.”

Scores: 9+8+9+9 = 35

Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dancing the cha-cha

Danica is surprisingly flexible. That must be helpful. Despite the fact that these dancers are apparently in jeopardy, the dancing is excellent.

Carrie Ann: “Today you are, I swear, the full blossom. It’s beautiful, Danica!”

Scores: 9+9+9+9 = 36

Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Dancing the tango

These two are really into the tango. The all-black costumes and dark lighting probably help, but this is an awesome dance.

Redfoo: “I say, ET phone home. You know why? ‘Cause this was out of this world! It was like you were gliding across the solar system from star to star!”

Scores: 10+10+10+10 = 40

Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke
Dancing the tango

They’re making Drew dance a tango right after Meryl gets a perfect score? That’s not nice. At least Drew gets to be a pimp. He’s having fun with that.

Len: “What I love with you is your commitment. You come out every week and you give it your all.”

Scores: 8+9+7+8 = 32

Charlie White and Sharna Burgess
Dancing the cha-cha

They seem to be starting out by walking like Egyptians, although that is very much not the song. Not sure if it’s the choreography or actual mistakes but the dancers look a little out of sync at a couple of moments. But then there’s black lighting and all is OK.

Bruno: “You never lost the cha-cha-cha … The style was spot-on all the way through … This track is h*** to dance to — you made it look flawless!”

Scores: 9+9+9+9 = 36

Amy Purdy and Derek Hough
Dancing the jive

Amy has to leave a guy at the altar to dance this one. Based on the enthusiasm of the dance, it may have been a good choice. Interestingly this is probably the most visible Amy’s prosthetic legs have been in the whole competition.

Carrie Ann: “You had the best kicks and flicks I’ve ever seen out of anyone ever.”

Scores: 9+10+9+10 = 38

All the dances done, the following couples are in jeopardy:

Candace and Mark, Danica and Val, Drew and Cheryl

Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke have been eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” in week 6.
