nicollette sheridan trial gi 'Desperate Housewives' trial: Nicollette Sheridan and Marc Cherry finish testimonyFormer “Desperate Housewives” star Nicollette Sheridan and show creator Marc Cherry finished their testimony Tuesday (March 6) in Sheridan’s wrongful termination lawsuit, reports EW.

Sheridan alleges that she was fired from the show as retaliation for complaining about an incident in which Cherry struck her. Cherry admitted Monday, according to TMZ, that his fingers did come into contact with her head — but only in the context of showing her how a scene should play out.

Her lawyer Neil Meyer said in court Tuesday that since being fired from the ABC show Sheridan hasn’t been able to find work “for several years,” though her IMDB profile shows that she’s since worked on a handful of projects, including a Hallmark movie and the big-screen adaptation of “Jewtopia.”

Sheridan’s former costars Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, James Denton and Neal McDonough are all scheduled to testify against her, saying they never saw Cherry strike her nor did they witness any retaliation.

Sheridan is seeking $6 million in damages.
