A rockin’ good time is planned for the halftime show of Super Bowl XLVII. It was already announced that Beyonce would be headlining the festivities, but now US Weekly is reporting that her Destiny’s Child groupmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will be joining her.
Insiders say Beyonce will open the performance solo, then midway through the show Williams and Rowland will join her for a medley of the group’s biggest hits, which will end with the debut of a brand-new song, “Nuclear.”
“Nuclear” is the first new music the group has released in eight years. They just announced their new album, called “Love Songs” and due out Jan. 29, just five days before the girls take to the Super Bowl stage.
After the Destiny’s Child medley, Beyonce will reportedly close the show alone with a new track off her upcoming fifth studio album.
Which songs do you hope to hear in the medley? We’ve got our fingers crossed for “Jumpin’ Jumpin’.”
