Former “Doctor Who” star David Tennant is cornering one more market with his latest job. The actor is the voice of “Kinect Sports Rivals,” a video game debuting in April on Xbox One.
It’s the first video game for Tennant, who will guide players through creating their characters. He’ll also help them learn to play the various games, even though he doesn’t consider himself the best person for the job.
“My greatest sporting achievement, personally, was probably an egg and spoon race,” he says in the above video.
“Kinect Sports Rivals” isn’t the only thing Tennant has going on at the moment. He’s also starring in “Gracepoint” in the fall, an American remake of his UK series “Broadchurch.”

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
