doctor who the time of the doctor 'Doctor Who' Christmas special gets name and teaser art

This is going to be big. In fact, it’s going to be the end. Matt Smith will leave “Doctor Who” at the conclusion of the 2013 Christmas special, which now has a name.
The BBC announced the name, along with some teaser art, on Twitter, writing, “We can confirm that the title of the @bbcdoctorwho Christmas Special is ‘The Time of the Doctor’.” So there it is, 11 will regenerate during “The Time of the Doctor.” The title follows the scheme or recent episodes like “The Day of the Doctor” and “The Name of the Doctor.”
The art shows the Doctor, victorious with the head of a Cyberman in his hand. If the teaser trailer says anything about the episode, the Doctor is going to be facing off against some of his fiercest fiercest foes, from Cyberman to Weeping Angels.
“The Time of the Doctor” airs December 25 on BBC America.
