Actor James Farentino, 72, was arrested Sunday on misdemeanor battery charges.
The actor allegedly grabbed one of his wife Stella’s female friends during an argument at his Hollywood Hills home.
]]>released on $20,000 bail.
The acclaimed stage actor is best known for his roles on TV’s “Dynasty” (he played Dr. Nick Toscanni), “ER” and “Melrose Place.” He was nominated for an Emmy in 1978 for his portrayal of Simon Peter in the TV movie, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
But his 1983 arrest and restraining order (he pled ‘no contest’) for stalking his ex-girlfriend Tina Sinatra, he has said, caused his career to sink: “There are people in this business that for years said, ‘He’s an alcoholic. He’s a drunk. He stalked Tina.’ And the clamps were put on me in many ways.”
Stalking Frank Sinatra‘s daughter? So not a smart move, dude.
