Dressed in a red Marchesa dress, Michele didn’t field too many questions about fashion, though. With Rachel entering her senior year of high school on “Glee,” and the summer being filled with rumors of her imminent departure from the show or a possible spin-off, folks wanted to know what the latest is.
At least that’s what Ryan Seacrest focused on during the E! red carpet coverage.
“I know no more than you do,” Michele said. “[It] just depends on if i decide to take all my classes, I guess.”
“I love my job, I love my cast, I love my writers, and I love my creators,” she continued. “If I could be on ‘Glee’ forever, I would be — [but] Ryan [Murphy] never intended to have a show with 30-year-old high school students.”
No, he may not have, but at the moment he seems to be undecided about the future of his senior cast members and characters.
“We would never do ‘Glee: The College Years,'” Murphy recently said of actors with graduation characters like Michele and Chris Colfer, “but I think there’s very
organic ways that you could keep them on the show, keep them big, and
keep the audience invested in them. But you know the show is always
going to be about that choir room.”
