The first wave of presenters at the Emmys include several people who are nominated for awards — and a couple of the bigger names coming to TV this fall.
New “Two and a Half Men” star Ashton Kutcher will present at the Sept. 18 ceremony, which airs a day before his debut on the CBS comedy. Zooey Deschanel, who stars on FOX’s new comedy “New Girl,” will also be part of the Emmycast (which airs on FOX).
The nominees tapped as presenters are “The Good Wife” star Julianna Margulies, Sofia Vergara of “Modern Family” and husband and wife Will Arnett (nominated as a guest star for “30 Rock”) and Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation”). Arnett also stars in NBC’s new series “Up All Night.”
Arnett will find out if he’s a winner in the comedy guest actor category at Saturday’s (Sept. 10) Creative Arts Emmys. The Primetime Emmy Awards air live at 8 p.m. ET/5 PT Sunday, Sept. 18.
