grohl murphy gi Foo Fighter Dave Grohl not down with 'Glee'There goes my hero.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl says don’t expect his band’s songs to end up on “Glee” anytime in the near future.

“It’s every band’s right; you shouldn’t have to do f***ing ‘Glee,'” says Grohl in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“And then the guy [Ryan Murphy] who created ‘Glee’ is so offended that we’re not, like, begging to be on his f***ing show…,” continues Grohl, just in case the point was not already hammered home. “F*** that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do ‘Glee.'”

Rock and roll, dude! And we concur after Casey Abrams’ lackluster cover of Nirvana’s (Grohl’s old band) “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on “American Idol.”

But, seriously, why the hate? According to THR’s interview, it isn’t so much the show as it is Murphy, who reportedly dissed both Slash and Kings of Leon when they declined to have their songs featured on the show.

“The ‘Glee’ guy, what a f***ing jerk,” Grohl says. “Slash was the first one. He wanted to do Guns N’ Roses and Slash is like, ‘I hate f***ing musicals. It’s worse than Grease.’ Then [Murphy’s] like, ‘Well, of course he’d say that, he’s a washed up ol’ rock star, that’s what they f***ing do.’ And then Kings of Leon say, ‘No, we don’t want to be on your show.’ And then he’s like, ‘Snotty little a**holes…’ And it’s just like, Dude, maybe not everyone loves ‘Glee.’ Me included.”

Well, alrighty then. Thus far, no response from that f***ing Ryan Murphy guy.
