lena headey lady stoneheart game of thrones instagram gi 'Game of Thrones': Was Lena Headey's Lady Stoneheart Instagram a drunk tease?Warning: Vague spoilers about a big “A Storm of Swords” epilogue twist and potential future “Game of Thrones” reveals are contained in this article. Read on at your own risk.

Though “Game of Thrones'” Season 4 finale “The Children” was arguably the best finale of the series, some fans of George R.R. Martin’s novels found themselves very disappointed that a certain character who goes by the name “Lady Stoneheart” didn’t arrive at the end of the episode. It was an arrival many considered a guarantee, no thanks to star Lena Headey.
On April 21, Headey posted a photo to Instagram of rocks arranged in the shape of a heart. She captioned the image, “My stone heart.” Many fans considered this to be her way of teasing that the Lady Stoneheart reveal was in fact coming, and that belief was seemingly confirmed by the fact Headey had teased the way Oberyn Martell would die two months before “The Mountain and the Viper” aired.
Of course, the stone heart image proved not to be a teaser at all. And Headey might have given viewers the reason for the mix up during a recent visit to “Chelsea Lately.”
It turns out Headey has a bit of a problem with drunk tweeting. “I just tweet sort of reams of bulls***,” she admits to Chelsea Handler. “But at the time I think they’re brilliant and insightful, do you know what I mean? And then I wake up, and people are like, ‘Are you OK? Are you on drugs? Are you OK?’ And I’m like, ‘F***, what did I say?'”

Could it be that Headey posted the photo when she was drunk as a way to tease fans? It’s possible, but also somewhat unlikely. Headey has made no secret of the fact that she hasn’t read the “A Song of Ice and Fire” novels, so chances are she doesn’t even know who (or what) “Lady Stoneheart” is. Instead, Headey might have given the real clue to why she posted “My stone heart” in the second half of the above interview.

Over the past couple of years, Headey has been going through a messy divorce from husband Peter Loughran. She tells Handler that she has no interest in living with anyone again, and is stuck being single for the time being. The heart of rocks could be a nod to her troubled romantic life.
Or, who knows? Maybe she just really likes rearranging rocks.
