This is definitely something extra special. Disney Channel has released the opening credits for the upcoming “Girl Meets World.” They are packed with a bunch of new peeks at the series. It definitely looks like Riley is going to be her father’s daughter. The only thing missing is Farkle. Continuing the trend the show has been setting, the credits also pay tribute to the original “Boy Meets World.”
A paper airplane figures pretty heavily in the opening credits, not unlike the Season 1 opening of “Boy Meets World.” It’s also worth noting that the credits make it seem like the show is set in New York, which is where Cory and Topanga moved to at the end of “Boy Meets World.” Yet the school Corey teaches at is John Adams, which he attended in Philadelphia, and the janitor is his old bully Harley.

The full version of the theme song was also released. It’s performed by show stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter. You can listen to that below.

“Girl Meets World” premieres June 27 on Disney Channel.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
