– FOX’s “Broadchurch” remake “Gracepoint” has added former “Gossip Girl” actor Kevin Zegers to its cast. Zegers (“The Mortal Instruments”) will play a reporter in the small town where the murder mystery takes place, a role similar to the one Jonathan Bailey played in the British show.

– New-ish cable channel Pivot has acquired rights to two classic teen dramas, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Veronica Mars.” The two shows will debut on Jan. 13 and air weeknights at 10 and 11 p.m. Pivot, which launched in August, is in about 40 million homes.

Robert Rodriguez‘s “From Dusk Till Dawn” TV series on El Rey Network has added three more actors. Most notable among them is “Friday Night Lights” alum Adrianne Palicki, who will play a woman from Seth Gecko’s (D.J. Cotrona) past named Vanessa Styles. Also added are Gary Busey’s son Jake Busey as mythology-obsessed professor Aiden Tanner, and Lane Garrison as a liquor store clerk named Pete who has a run-in with the Gecko brothers. [EW]

Ashley Williams (“How I Met Your Mother”) could be back on CBS next season. She’s joined the cast of Jim Gaffigan‘s pilot at the network, playing Gaffigan’s “super-wife.” It’s the second go-round in development for the pilot; Mira Sorvino played Gaffigan’s wife in a version last pilot season. – The 2014 Billboard Music Awards have an airdate. ABC and Dick Clark Productions say the awards show will air live on May 18. The awards show will return to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas once again. A host has not yet been announced.

– TCM will pay tribute to Peter O’Toole and Oscar winner Joan Fontaine with a lineup of some of their most memorable roles on Dec. 29. A seven-film Fontaine marathon that includes “The Women,” “Suspicion” and “Rebecca” will kick off at 6:30 a.m. ET. Three of O’Toole’s best — “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Goodbye, Mr. Chips” and “My Favorite Year” — will air starting at 8 p.m. ET. An O’Toole interview special from 2012 is set for midnight.

– TLC’s latest docuseries, “90 Day Fiance,” will follow four couples who have only spent a limited amount of time in person as they move in together in the U.S. and decide whether or not to get married before their special K-1 Visa for foreign fiances expires. It premieres on Sunday, Jan. 12.

– The first trailer for Netflix’s new documentary, “The Square,” has debuted online. Set to premiere on Netflix on Jan. 17 at 12:01 a.m. PT and in select US cities, the Jehane Noujaim film delves into the Egyptian protest movement.

– Discovery has greenlit “The West,” a docu-series delving into the exploration and settlement of the American West in the post-Civil War era. The show, produced in part by Robert Redford‘s Sundance Productions, will focus on several well-known characters from the era, among them Jesse James, Crazy Horse and Buffalo Bill Cody.
