charlie hunnam birthday gi Happy Birthday, Charlie Hunnam: Before 'Sons of Anarchy', there was 'Undeclared'

The world knows Charlie Hunnam as bay boy biker Jax Teller on “Sons of Anarchy,” but he had quite a career before moving to Charming. American TV audiences were first introduced to Hunnam back in 2001, when he starred in Judd Apatow’s “Undeclared” as an English college freshman who had quite a way with the ladies.
It was a simpler time, when Hunnam was a clean-shaven young man, using his real accent. Below, take a look at a super cut of each of his scenes from the pilot, including a moment when he dispenses some very important life lessons to, of all people, his roommate’s dad.

If you want to go a bit earlier than even that, Hunnam’s audition tape for the show online. The voice he’s reading with might sound familiar. That’s because it’s none other than eventual co-star Seth Rogen.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
