The wonderful Helen Mirren stopped by “The Tonight Show” Monday (Aug. 4) to promote her new movie, “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” but first, host Jimmy Fallon put her to work as his “Mirren, Mirren on the wall.” She answers questions like, “What do you think of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey?”

“Whips and chains are not my style, but who doesn’t love a jolly-good spanking once in a while?” says Mirren with a smirk.

Below, Mirren talks about meeting Queen Elizabeth and how it sort of makes your brain go fuzzy.

“You get this thing which I call ‘Queen-itis,’ which is a terrible virus that suddenly hits you when you’re in front of the queen,” says Mirren. “You start saying weird things like, ‘Frightfully nice to meet you, mum.’ This weird voice comes out … You get sort of paralyzed and you can’t remember what the hell you said.”

Mirren also has a sure-fire way to get you laid — take your date to see “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” which is about two restaurants in France, then make a reservation at a nice place to eat afterward. She guarantees it will work out well for you.

“The Hundred-Foot Journey” opens nationwide Friday, Aug. 8.
