HESHER1.jpgNatalie Portman continues her reign as the Hardest-Working Woman in Show Business with “Hesher,” an indie dramedy due for release next month.

Up above is your first look at a fresh image of Portman as Nicole, a grocery-store clerk who befriends a 13-year-old boy named T.J. (Devin Brochu), who himself is trying to come to terms with his mother’s death a couple months earlier. T.J.’s life and that of his dad, Paul (“The Office’s” Rainn Wilson), are upended when Hesher (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a stringy-haired, homemade tattoo-sporting ball of anarchy, takes up unwanted residence in their garage.

Paul has been in a near-catatonic state since his wife’s death, but Hesher’s arrival wakes him up — at least enough to accompany T.J. to what looks like a courtroom, as you can see in another Zap2it First image below.
