Sorry Aaron Carter — it takes more than 140 characters to capture Hilary Duff’s heart.
“Him reaching out through social media? It’s ridiculous!” Duff says to the magazine. “But then people do it all the time, like Chris Brown and Karrueche? Come on, guys. Keep it between text messages.”
Carter wasn’t simply “reaching out” — he declared that he had never gotten over Duff despite the fact the couple broke up over ten years ago in 2004.
She’s said it for the world to hear now — if you want a chance with Hilary Duff, it is best to keep the wooing private. No girl wants their private business blasted over the Internet. That seems like there’s no hope for a Disney Channel reunion for these two, but it’s good advice for anyone that wants a chance with Duff now that she’s filed for divorce from retired hockey player Mike Comrie. Just be warned she’s looking for happiness, not necessarily a long-term relationship.
“I don’t want to sound bitter because I’m definitely not, but I don’t know if people are meant to be together forever. Things happen over a long relationship that you can’t always fight,” Duff also says to Cosmo. “A marriage of 20 years, the accomplishment of that must feel really great, but there are also huge sacrifices. I just always want to fight for happiness.”
It’s not that hard, guys. If you want to get with this former Disney princess then do a little research, get her actual number and maybe you have a shot.
